There are many adverse health effects that accompany obesity, the most common being high blood pressure, but including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and an increased risk of death from all causes.

The Body Mass Index is equal to one's weight in kilograms divided by the square of one's height in meters, or BMI = W / (H * H). A maximum healthy weight (based on a BMI of 25) is equal to 25 times the square of one's height in meters, or 25 * H * H.
